I was hired by Tonic Nightclub as their Video Director, brought in specifically to projection-map the exterior of the venue for special events and high-traffic nights. My role was to design and execute large-scale visual treatments that turned the building façade into an animated canvas, creating a signature visual identity that set Tonic apart from other nightlife spots.
For each activation, I developed custom projection-mapped content—mixing motion graphics, architectural highlights, ambient textures, and beat-driven visuals—to transform the exterior into a dynamic, eye-catching installation. I handled the complete technical and creative pipeline, including:
- Site scanning & surface mapping of the building exterior
- Custom video content creation tailored to the architecture
- Playback and projection alignment using professional mapping software
- Live show direction during peak hours or themed events
These exterior projection moments became a recognizable part of the club’s brand, drawing crowds and adding a high-energy visual layer to Tonic’s nightlife experience. The project showcased how architectural projection can function as both entertainment and marketing—turning the venue itself into a visual attraction.
