I was brought on to create video graphics and projection effects for Yellacat, an electro-pop music video centered on empowerment, self-respect, and a dose of galactic-fueled sensuality. The track—produced by LA-based artist Jonny Joon (Jonathan Hakakian)—combines hypnotic melodies, textured beats, and a bold female vocal. Visually, the world of the video blends futurism, neon glamour, and raw attitude.
Under the direction of Sequoia Emmanuelle, I designed and executed projection elements that enhanced the atmosphere and elevated the expressive energy of the performers. My work included crafting motion graphics, calibrating projection surfaces, and integrating visual effects that interacted with movement, lighting, and set design—helping shape the “galactic sexy sauce” aesthetic that drives the video.
