Description:
For San Diego Comic-Con 2014, NBCUniversal partnered with Warner Bros and DC Comics to launch the TV series Constantine with a fully immersive 4D theater experience in the heart of the Gaslamp District. As the Dome Builder and On-Site Build Lead for Vortex Immersion Media, I managed an 8-person crew and oversaw the full construction and installation of the 36-foot geodesic dome.
This included coordinating all structural components, leading the team through the full build process, and ensuring the dome was perfectly prepped for projection, custom cover installation, and the integrated 4D effects system. Once built, the dome housed a 3-minute 360° show featuring wind, strobes, 5.1 audio, and synchronized special effects—creating a high-impact, theatrical environment that thrilled Comic-Con audiences.
