Role: Dome Lead / Projection & Technical Integration / Droid Team Member
Collaborators: Andrew Jones + Droid Team
Description:
As part of visionary artist Andrew “Android” Jones’ MOVA Gallery Dome Tour, I served as Dome Lead and a core member of the Droid Team—a collective of artists, engineers, and dreamers redefining the boundaries of immersive experience.
The tour traveled across major art and music festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Burning Man, and Symbiosis, presenting a 360° projection dome that enveloped audiences in fractal imagery, sacred geometry, and live-rendered visual worlds. I oversaw dome operations, projection alignment, system calibration, and spatial mapping, while collaborating closely on visual and lighting integration to ensure a seamless, transportable setup across diverse environments.
Outcome:
The MOVA Dome became one of the most iconic immersive installations on the festival circuit, merging art, consciousness, and technology into a transcendent shared experience. Working alongside Andrew Jones and the Droid team remains one of the most creatively fulfilling collaborations of my career—an exploration of vision, precision, and community at scale.

Necklace Factory Award
Our installation was honored with the Necklace Factory Award of High Merit, a recognition reserved for creators who expand the boundaries of artistic expression at Black Rock City. The award celebrated our contribution to the culture of amazement, exploration, and emotional resonance—acknowledging not just the artwork itself, but the spirit of engagement it sparked in everyone who encountered it. Receiving this medal and accompanying proclamation was a meaningful reminder of why we create: to inspire, to experiment, and to bring people together through transformative experiences.
